This will be a K9 certification course in narcotics and patrol service dog through the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association (NNDDA).

The class will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 and end with a competition on Thursday March 24, 2016 at 1:00 PM.

MLEOA K-9 certification and training seminar.

This training will include a certification course through the NNDDA for Patrol or Narcotics. Explosive K-9s will be offered a certification through the American Working Dog association.
There will be multiple training venues for explosive and narcotic detection as well as patrol based scenarios. We will be putting a greater emphasis on officer safety and a more tactical approach to K-9 searches for suspects.
We will also be featuring a K-9 first aid course that will include a free first aid kit for participants as well as a legal updates and training records class.
Last but not least, we will again have our Hard dog / Fast dog competition in addition to our detection scramble event.

MLEOA will provide lodging to all participants needing such and will provide some of the meals during the training.  Participants needing lodging will need to contact the hotel listed below to make reservations.
